I have mowed only twice in my life as a young teen. The first time resulted in a stuffy head for a couple of days, the second launched a sinus lockup despite antihistamine resulting in being forbidden to attempt it again. <img class="spSmiley" title="no" onclick="spjEdInsertSmiley('icon_no.gif', 'no', 'http://chickensintheroad.com/wp-content/forum-smileys/', '');" src="/wp-content/forum-smileys/icon_no.gif" alt="no" /> Age worsened the allergy problem to where DH makes sure the windows are closed and I've taken a pill before he mows the winter "grass" (read: native weeds) in the backyard during these spring months before the summer sun scorches them to the ground. We don't keep any lawn areas as I'd rather pay the pricy suburban water bill for veggies, fruit bushes and the clusters of perennial flowers than maintain inedible grass.
